Plex supports 2 types of Playlists, Video and Music. Which means that you can add TV-Show Episodes AND Movies to the same Video Playlist. You could just put the movies under Specials. Often times the movies are listed on TVDB as a Special anyway, so a lot of them would get metadata and everything if you name them accordingly.
