IRL if you were to do this then there is a chance that the trailer is coming off or detaching from the car it would only happen under major force though eg at high speeds because it would have to break the locking mechanism.

Disable the hand brake from the vehicle you need to tow (enter the car you need to drag, and remove it from radial menu), also i check the engine's power of the vehicle i'm going to use (unless there are other factors that i'm not aware about) compared to what size you are trying to drag.Anyone know any solutions? Grab a destroyable car, that one you hate, then another car you hate too, put one car in the back, then other in the opposite and attach to it, car and trailer will go crazy but this may work, if not use the other car to crash from sides a little bit, the trailer will need fix anyways that is the sad part, but with patience and luck you may turn it, it worked for me.

You do not need a rope for this. You need to back up the truck quite close (~1 tile) to the trailer > stand at the back of thruck and press V > attach trailer to the truck.
