Discussion. I have a ~1 min DB12 Tricaru team, but wondering what steps do you take to speed it up? I can think of: Increase Verde damage. Put as much attack on tricarus. Look for damage attacking together artifacts. Put Tricaru (s) on crit damage (probably really high rune requirements?) Grind as much attack/CR/CD on existing runes.
Strengths: •The Water Inugami, Icaru is a turn cycle machine for PvE and can be used in almost all the dungeons! •His 2rd skill allows you to team up with 3 other monsters. When paired with Verdehile, ATK bar is constantly being increased. •Icaru's Ai is very smart, and he'll always prioritize his 2nd skill when it's available.Yes, I too built tricaru on determination and just build a bj R5 team so I also had to craft many determination and fight runes, the crafting material ratio doesn't make any sense while crafting as the drop rate ratio is is much lower for condensed crystals. same here.(Unless use tricaru.) This was even recommended in the old days nb10. While it was feasible to do 10 without violent, 12 requires MUCH higher rune quality (or advanced monsters) to pull it off without violent. There is no question that if you aren't doing tricaru, an alt started today would still farm violent to get to nb12 quickly.If you can, keep def% 5* runes. If you go 9x determination there is room for multiple 5* runes per unit. I'm down to 4 sets and still use a 5* slot 4 rune on one of my dogs

That means that the rune has a higher maximum stat total than a rune with only two Grindable stats. Usally you want to have stats like res, acc, cr etc on as few runes as possible with each rune having as much as possible. Thats because it allows your other runes to have more grindable stats which in turn allows your unit to have more stats in ...The essence of tricaru is that it does an insane number of attacks via atb manipulation, before any enemy gets a chance to move. Each set of 4 moves adds potentially 4x40% = 160% atb. This keeps you ahead of the enemies, while the turn-cycling repeats. (Eventually, an enemy can move, via 7% gain each time someone moves.)Verde just needs 100% CR and enough HP to stay alive. As your runes improve, you can upgrade Verd to more of a damage dealer - but for your first team, it's not required. No you don't need end game runes for a decent team. End game runes are only for a super fast team. Tricaru scales well with rune quality and it starts working on mediocre runes. The most important runes early on are verde's runes, the Icaru don't matter much outside of minimums and some accuracy.
Tricaru needs defense stats to bring 3 monsters into the team up and while the effort for that is pretty easy when u have defense towers or determination sets or both involved you still gotta grind for the runes, 2a experience, and normal skill ups for it. Twins on their release date did not originally attack with only 1 twin.
Only problem I see is when the boss hits and the gargoyle goes below 70% so he doesn’t transform anymore. Could be alleviated with a bit of tankiness. Statue form reduces incoming damage further by 30%. What’s really nice is it makes the rune requirements for this team much lower. Tricaru in Giants B12. Hey guys SeanB here and I have been testing the Tricaru concept in GB12 for a while since the post showcasing them in GB10 with Triana was posted. Tricaru + 1 seems only possible with an overloaded unit like Savanah. Something more obtainable like Imesety, Bernard couldn't keep up (they can win but not all the time).Too bad Tatu's AI is trash. Highly inconsistent on auto. The point of having tricaru is being able to save good rune sets like vio swift and such away from your farming team. No team can replace Tricaru in terms of being able to save Good rune sets.It's easy to build a garbage (comparatively slow) tricaru that works with terrible determination runes because you can get away with low def rolls on the 3 5 runes and using broken sets. There's a plan you can follow to cheese tricaru if you only goal is to get the team running for db12 and db12 alone.Hey guys, I think building this team is the biggest challenge for most of the game (until endgame rta). You want any (ideally) 6* def% rune for slots 2/4/6 and slot 1 runes can have any subs (since no defense). The hard ones are slots 3 and 5.
