Allthemodium spawns where deepslate does (no specific Y level is any better than the rest) just don't go deeper than the nether level. In atm 7 (1.18.1) its in mountain type biomes. Natures compass shows the type of all the biome as there isn't one just called mountain any more. Apparently it exists from y 20 down but is rare or more commonly (not like iron common) above y170. You can see the odd bit here and there on exposed rock on peaks as you jetpack around looking.
