An Iron Defender has its own "Pet Character Sheet". To access this, first, the pet must be summoned. This is a Feat, "Unleash Iron Defender", that must be activated. This feat is found under the Feats tab on the character sheet, in "Artificer Feats". That link can be dragged and dropped to a hotbar from that location.

Sometimes when all my spells failed, needed saves or just didn't crit or deal enough damage, i just stacked up arcane pulse on enemy and 100% of the time they didn't last the full effect. 100% advised for force builds.

The original build predates U57 but it seems like it can take some advantage of the new imbues: +7 dice from Inquisitive and +3 dice from Battle Engineer (Agility Engine). Rogue 2 / Alchemist 18 is a max of 18 dice if I added right, but you'd give up Know the Angles (41 INQ / 31 VC / 8 Assassin); so probably 41 INQ / 21 VC / 8 AS / 6-8 Harper. 2.
