On the job there is -. some newer oil base, some plasticky trim of unknown composition, some metal doors with some kind of factory finish, and some old oil base trim. The Extreme bond sticks to everything without sanding, quite tenaciously. Extreme Bond Primer 8124 DESCRIPTION 8124 is a 100% solids, 2-component polyamide epoxy primer formulated to provide superior adhesion to prepared substrates. 8124 can be applied to slightly damp substrates. It will cure at temperatures down to 40° F and can also be used as a rapid curing primer in warmer applications. 8124 meets USDA/FDASand, sand, sand. Go course first, 60-80. Get off anything loose, and try to loosen some more. 2. Extreme bond is ok, but you have to build coats and sand. Usually 120 grit. It can build some body, but sanding the ever loving crap out of the surface will eventually do the trick.
