There are different ways to do it the best way I found was to just get some NTAG 215 they can be just a sticker they are small and thin and you can use your android or iPhone to write the amiibo in the tag there are many YouTube videos on how to do that. All you need is NFC and a writer. The internet is your friend.

Tagmo to write the amiibo using their database. And then an app called "Tag Writer" from NXP to erase the data on the card to reuse it. Ive had no issues doing this and most nfc cards on amazon come with multiple so even if the card corrupts i have backups. Highly recommend
