There were other codes for the glow plug circuits, but I only concentrated on the main code (U0106 -lost communication with glow plug control module). I used my Snap On Solus Pro scanner and was able to check the code and operation of the control module.

Hello guru’s, my LMM duramax just recently started setting all 8 glow plug codes (P0671-678). The glow plug light comes on for a few seconds when the engine is cold and doesn’t come on when the engine is hot so it acts like they are working as far as the dash indicator. If I clear the codes they don’t come back until the next cold start.
