Dec 18, 2023 · I have the outdoor cam and the SS charging cable. The camera charge last longer than without the cable, but it does not stay charged. I still have to bring the battery in to charge. Needs a charge about every three months I think. I thought the cable should keep the cam charged at all times. @B_bryce flashing red very slow means that the battery is low. But flashing more rapidly means that the camera is not able to connect to WiFi. So it sounds like you're not having a battery issue, but a WiFi issue. At random points of time, within the app, the app will show the battery charging icon and then randomly refresh to show the actual percentages in which the front camera never charged and the back camera only goes up to about 94-95%.

The only issue I am watching now is battery life for the camera that is working solely off battery power. Sometimes the batter seems to hold for weeks. Now it is holding for months, even in cold weather, so we're very pleased. The short battery life earlier could have been related to software issues prior to reloading. Who knows.
