I realize MKSAP questions are the gold standard, but if people (including prior test-takers) can post any other tools which proved valuable/helpful, please share!

I got MKSAP 19 for the boards, i hear uworld is really good. Is there any other resources you guys would recommend to use? I did both Uworld and MKSAP19 question banks. I also went through the board basics book that came with MKSAP. I personally liked all three (and needed all three).

Hi, so I'm going to be taking my ABIM this month and have been dedicated studying since early July. I did MKSAP on and off throughout my residency. I finished my first pass of UWORLD recently with percentages in the low 50s. I'm doing a second pass of UWORLD now and am hovering around 75% so far. I've also been reading board basics.

This was not entirely a surprise, as the pass rate for first-time test takers was 88%. But it definitely requires some studying. Thanks. I did all of that years MKSAP and I did about 2/3 of UWorld for the ABIM exam. UWorld is trickier but helps hammer in some of the more difficult concepts. Passed quite comfortably and probably overdid it in the end. The only book I read was the Board Basics book that came with MKSAP (which is gold).
