To revive the dead and bring up my findings over the past few days as far as fluid in the AX-5/ AX-15: These fluids are APPROVED for use in these transmissions: -10w-30 motor oil (a good synthetic) -75w-90 gear lube GL-3 or GL-4 (NOT GL-5 that will eat your brass syncros)I would definately do a change and not a flush. Make sure you also change the transmission filter.
