I understand that this is the same bar as a John Deere 1780. I do like it BUT .....the cylinders in the center of the bar decided to quit lifting during planting last spring.No problems in past. Maybe tomorrow I will dial from 100% down to something less. Will look at main valve block also, as suggested. Very frustrating. Re-contact my JD dealer if I can't get going better. As a side note. Have a new to me JD 1760 12 row planter with the factory ground drive. So far when planting soybeans it seems the actual population is lower than the rate chart says it should be. I set for what the chart says should be 118k and the 250 monitor and my actual counts give me around 110k. I have the tire pressure set according to the book.
