As suggested above, get an M17/M18, remove the manual safety, install the safety lever pin in it's place, and stick the FCU in a no manual safety grip module of your choice. As far as the trigger pull goes, I don't have a trigger gauge but going by feel compared to my M17 FCU (which has the enhanced skeletonized trigger, but not the legion trigger bar), they felt the same. I doubt there is much difference (other than manufacturing tolerance) in any of these FCUs.I qualified with the M17 version in June. It is fine handgun. The idea that it is modular or was the only modular entry is ignoring reality. The US Army does not want soldiers taking the FCU out of the weapons. The M17 and M18 share all end items (magazines, pouched, and holsters). However, the same is true of the other entries.

796 posts · Joined 2018. #2 · Aug 2, 2022. I've never had a problem swapping FCU's from one grip frame to another. But they've all been Sig grip frames. So the Sig FCU fits fine in Sig TXG and Sig X series frames. But it doesn't work in the Icarus frame.
