Just because lots of people get sucked into 10/22s for the aftermarket parts doesn't mean its a better rifle. The 795 is easily more accurate out of the box than a 10/22, cost less, and is a heck of a lot of fun to shoot. There are quite a few RFCers who have taken 795s to AS events and done great.

Very accurate, magazines readily available including the nice 25 rounder from Promag, the barrel is almost a bull barrel, and it is easier to take down and clean than the Savage 64. Also if the mag is empty and I put it back in the gun and pull the bolt back it stays open, But with rounds in there on the last shot it won't stay open.
