Difference between glock 30 and 30s.
I have a non rail 30, a 30SF rail tenifer, a gen 4 fpf 30, and 2 30SF's one fpf model. The 30S has quite a bit more recoil than a 30 model, and a supurb broken in glock trigger. But my 30S is still quite accurate. Have not shot the fpf 30S to compare if the one I've shot is a fluke.

I am going to buy a Glock 30 or 30s in the coming weeks. From reading on the various gun forums it looks like more people like/love the 30s instead of the 30. I know the slide is slightly more narrow on the 30s compared to the 30 but the width of both guns is exactly the same according to the Glock specs and the other dimensions are the same.Jan 28, 2013 · The 30 does shoot softer than the 27 and also affords you the benefit of a full grip. The 36 isn't bad either. It has slightly more felt recoil than the 30 due to lighter slide and thinner grip. I never noticed musch difference with the 36 slide on my 30 (same as 30s). t4terrific. If you carry IWB, the 30 is doable, but not as comfortable as the 27. The 30s would be a little more comfortable to carry, but not as comfortable to shoot. There is no really clear answer when it comes to carry pistols. Everything has trade-offs. when it comes to carry pistols.

The width difference is not much a G30 is 1.28 inches and a G36 is 1.10 inches. With a G30 having 10+1 verse 6+1 plus with a G30 my spare mag is a 13 round G21 mag. You can only use a G36 mag in a G36. My BUG Bag I carry a few 27 round mags that work flawless in my G30 also.

The 30 isn't bad to carry though I find myself pulling my pants up a lot.Finally, the Glock 30 with the flush fit magazine makes for a pretty concealable package in that the short grip length is a big plus for CCW. As for the Smith, the M&P will undoubtedly fit better in your hand. To me, the grip on the M&P has a better feel than the Glock.
