Seems to run good but flame is just big when it’s heating up. When the feed rate is set too high it will push more pellets into the burn pot. Unburned or partially burned pellets will land in the ash pan. It's better to run it at a lower feed rate and keep the pellets burning hotter in the back of the burn pot.

(also changing feed from 3-6 you can hear the increase) Mode Selector knob I think is the culprit.This is not the fault of the pellets, in the case of the Quadra Fire stoves, they have the feed rod right inside the hopper in the center. This is what hangs the pellets up from sliding down properly.
