Sword, for farming runes or mob clearing cos the AoW as HUGE range. The Hammer's AoW has great dmg assuming you have 5 seconds to spare to proc it. Hammer Ash of war is harder to read in PvP, but sword is much better for farming runes for easy levels at Mohgs Palace. Both so stellar damage in their own right.

Marika was pure evil. She was eugenist who slaughtered those that were different from her and abused her own children. She caused some of the worst things in Elden Ring to happen. There is no redemption for her. Ranni, on the other hand, is nuanced and you could make an argument that she is good or bad.
