A third party library had been changed by the Content Manager to a version which had different files. Those missing files are what was causing the issue with code generation.Location: Rhode Island. According to several forums, as I am using a Macbook, the advised is to use ipecmd.sh instead of jar. The erase and blank check commands return positive feedback which I assume it works, however, the programming command does not work. The command I run is: sudo ./ipecmd.sh -P32MZ2048EFM100 - TSBURXXXXXX -FFW.hex -E -M.The problem with pickit 3 is not faulty hardware. Don't believe the support engineers told you. Simply connect the pickit3 to your USB port, after driver installed, start the IDE, not X-IDE, and select your chip. IDE will download whole new OS and related firmware to the pickit 3.
