CAVA-POO-CHONS! The Cava-Poo-Chons are a Timshell Farm original! The Cava-Poo-Chons have a CAVACHON mother (50% Bichon Frise and 50% Cavalier King Charles Spaniel), and a deep red, Toy Poodle sire. All parent dogs in the triple-cross breeding are purebreds, free from genetic faults. The Cava-Poo-Chons are beautiful little teddy bears! I have attached some pictures of him since we brought him home. When we got him he was about 4 lbs and now he is just over 9 lbs at 3 months old. At first he was showing much more golden retriever traits than the others. As he grows, his coat has started to get a bit curlier and he is looking more and more like a doodle and less like a golden. In our early days, Timshell Farm bred Golden Retrievers. While our beautiful female Golden Retrievers still reward us with healthy, happy Goldendoodle puppies, we no longer breed Golden Retriever puppies. However, in fond memory of the joy that they brought to us and to our clients, we have retained our former Golden Retriever section here.
