Hello ABTF community! I have been wearing a 40C for several years, but took my measurements (see below) and came out with a size of 36FF. I ordered 10 different bras in 2 sizes each (36FF and 38F) based on advice I’ve seen pursuing ABTF. Plus a trip to Jockey based on the recommendation of a friend.

However, the old method for trans women also had flaws and has since become outdated for our subreddit. You can only remove projection, not edit the footprint of the breast so reduced breasts are shaped differently than non-reduced breasts of the same volume. The calculator doesn’t handle it well. Hello my wonderful ABTF siblings! I just wanted to preface that ABTF is what brought me to Reddit, and that this is still my favorite subreddit! In the last year, I've educated a good chunk of my friends and partners about bras; they've actually become frightened at how passionate I am about them. The ABTF calculator is much more accurate. it also uses UK sizing by default, so keep that in mind unless you changed it to US. Something else to keep in mind. cup size is a ratio to band size. your bust measurement is 44, your band size is 34. that's a difference of 10 inches, and roughly every inch of difference is a new cup size.
