How to add shaders to rlcraft.
From what I can gather RLCraft is such a big modpack that shaders basically kill the FPS in certain locations. I also understand that Minecaft is built on Java which is not really meant for games, and therefore it cannot use the full potential of your CPU and GPU. I've tried Sildur's (everything from lite to extreme) and SEUS Renewed.
Also since you have a powerful RTX i recommend you to use complementary reimagined or ( rethinking voxels) rethinking voxels have the best lighting so far above all of the shader packs. If you can, can you please use the rethinking voxels shader and share some of your screenshots. I really wanna see how it works on rlcraft🥺ðŸ˜.If your leaves/grass are not waving with your shaders, press F8, go to Shader Configuration, and add 100 to the beginning of the Grass and Leaves block ID, so it should look like 10018 and 10031 (Sildur's currently needs this) - The default allocated 3GB's of RAM should still be perfectly fine for 2.9.Another one is bsl shaders thats ok. i personaöly like the bls or bsl shader. it's an awesome shader which also works with buffs and debuffs like night vision. I downloaded a shader for RLCraft and it works fine and looks great until I look at some of the modded blocks like crates or shelves, they are purely….RLcraft is far more demanding than vanilla minecraft. The fact that even without shaders the game's FPS drop is perfectly normal unless you have the newest computer that came out just yesterday. Then we can add the shader pack the same way we added Optifine to the instance, but instead of adding to the "Mods Folder" we add it as a "Shader Pack: Now we can select Optifine as well as all the shader pack/s we added in the right hand side and then hit "Enable Selected" to enable them: And that's it. Now we can play the instance.
Just as the title says. I have decent pc to run RLCraft but i'm still can't figure out how to get stable 60+ fps to play with shaders. Here is my pc setup: Ryzen 7 2700x. RTX 2060. 16 GB 2666Mhz. I put 8 Gigs on java and tried some jvm argument from other people but only getting unstable 40 - 60 fps with 5 render chunks and sildur's vibrant lite.

Certain baubles in RLCraft (dragon eye, ring of enchanted eyes) give night vision. Many shaders make night vision useless or ineffective. I don't know about any shaders that are compatible with night vision, but I know a few that aren't : KUDA (visual glitch), SEUS (very little change, almost unnoticeable), Chocapic (very little or no change).
