Paccar mx-13 oil pressure range.

Hoping someone can help. I have a 2015 Peterbilt 389 with Paccar mx13 that will not build boost past 19 psi.. When I start the truck the exhaust is clean.... When i leave the yard the exhaust stays clean until i hit high gears and the engine is asking for torque.... once that happens the boost gets pinned at 19psi and it starts smoking like crazy.The black has to be coming from somewhere, could be your exhaust back pressure is higher than coolant pressure while it's running, so it will pressurize the cooling system and force soot. Aug 25, 2020 · Hello I have a peterbilt 386 with Paccar mx13 I am getting a p0087 code . I have checked fuel pressure at the fuel temp sensor . Getting 90 psi +~- 10 at idle . Under light load comes up around 100 psi . On the scan tool pressure at idle is any where from 40 to 160 but around 90 to 100 mostly . Jumps around very quickly .
