Auto-Buffer: Literally any Persona will do. Just give it Auto-Masuku, Auto-Mataru, and Auto-Maraku. Fill the rest of the slots with Null/Absorb/Reflect and the reaming slots with other usefuls (victory cry, firm stance, etc.) Buffer: Heat Riser, and Debilitate. Fill the rest with Null/Absorb/Reflect etc.

I got almost every persona the calculator said I need (shiki-ouji, okuninushi,arahabaki,yatagarasu). You need to have Magician 10 to fuse Futsunushi, and Strength 8 to be able to fuse 4+ personas at the same time. Have you done the strength slink? I think you need to have it at a certain lvl.

If you want a high level persona with good resistances and high damage you might just go for Fafnir, Lucifer or whatever. Having Ailments on a dedicated Persona with 2 or 3 passives (depending on if you use Gloomy Child + Ambiant Aid) is always worth it imo. what 3 (or 4 if taking out Status Boost) remainder skills to choose for this build? I'd go with stuff like:-Arms Master to halve the cost.-Ali Dance if I don't equip the Fish God's Badge.
