Respawn really won't affect the difficulty that much, but it would make clearing up the areas more meaningful. #4. Absolute demons at night. Have the game ramp up to significant amounts by day 60 to 8x the population. What you have is a fight to survive. You've got the tools but they can easily overpower and destroy you. You might feel safe with 200+ shotgun shells, but when night comes, you might not be able to reload fast enough. You still have to fight for your territory, but once you've cleared it out, it's yours. The game is made really well actually. Dying over and over is a perfect way to learn everything. The most important part to learn is surviving the zombies which can only be done by throwing your face at them over and over.
