I was curious given a few posts about new hybrid owners having dead batteries. So I thought I'd familiarize myself with the location of the jumper posts (under the hood) just in case. The directions in the owners manual say "pull the red rubber boot backward" to access the positive jumper post. Connect a meter to the battery and read the voltage. Then wiggle the red battery cable. You will see if go into a panel on the air filter side of the battery. See if anything starts working. Then remove the air filter box and remove the cover off the side of the battery box. That is the high current fuse box.
