The GTH2548 would be around $200 more then the LGT2654. The current owner of the LGT2654 bought it from a big box store, along with an extended warranty, which is transferrable. The mower itself is great (My LGT2654 mower has 285 hours on it now.) but the transmissions are total garbage. Unfortunately, the same company makes the transmissions for most all the hydrostatic mowers. Mine stated ‘failing to proceed’ at 50 hours and got steadily worse. When it’s hot it wouldn’t go at all.
