I did that and it still crashed the same way (in inventory), found out there are some gpu driver versions that handle ark ac better than others, sometimes the recent one works, sometimes an older. This changes after almost each patch I guess. I recommend trying differend driver versions.Even on low there are all sorts of visual and ease of use improvements. Also, cranking settings down just makes the game more and more CPU bound, it's about finding optimal balance with GPU utilization and CPU time.
