Gone through trouble shooting and am narrowing it down to a bad reciever. Everything else works great and no physical damage. Checked ebay and retail and the thing goes from $125-$200.

I bought mine from Chatlee in Sanford NC. Acetone won't harm your gelcoat but it may dull the finish slightly. there may be other compounds/soaps that will do the job easier or better.
