From what I've noticed, it seems that you only get anti barrier rounds when you pick up an orb, so basically when you proc volatile from volatile flow. If you proc it from Gyrfalcons, it just seems to not give you anti barrier rounds. gyrfalcons doesnt apply anti barrier if you first get volatile rounds from it, only extends it if you use it to ...

Imo void overshield is nice but works best on titan for the 400% grenade Regen and imo volatile is nice but the buff on grenade kill is short and volatile doesn't make that much of a difference in damage/ad clear (it's not jolt), and also works best on titan for the team heal on proc.The answer is it depends.
