With Zote dead. If Zote is dead on your save file, then you're missing a boss that isnt him. If I had to guess, probably one of the bosses who only appears inside the 5th pantheon. Unless you failed to kill zote properly somehow. But all of the people saying you just cant open the door with zote dead have no idea how the game functions

Okay, so I left Zote to die in Deepnest, figuring I'd come back for the achievement later. Well, later is now and... he's still alive. I've done just about everything I can in this playthrough. I am at 95% completion, and have gotten everything except the third Colosseum fight, the upgraded Vengeful Spirit, the Soul Master's Dream, and fighting …Zote doesn't show up in the arena until you save him on both encounters (Greenpath and Deepnest), so Rivalry becomes impossible in this round.
