I came to about the same conclusion. The Morning Glory cuts a little bass and has a great bite to it. The Lightspeed adds a tiny bit of bass and takes away a touch of mid/low mid growl. Lighter is only better if you have a physical condition, like back or shoulder issues and just can't handle the extra weight, imho. Personally, weight isn't even something I consider when looking for a guitar. If it's 5 lbs or 11 lbs, I don't care, as long as it sounds and plays good.
